Guest wellbeing policy
Gambling belongs within clear personal limits.
It is an optional form of paid entertainment. Results cannot be guaranteed, and gambling must never be treated as income, investment or a way to solve financial difficulty.
Before entering the cabinet
Decide a financial limit that is affordable after travel and everyday commitments. Decide a time limit too. Keep a record of expenditure, include chips and slot play, and do not increase a limit in response to losses. Casino wagers are separate from the voyage fare.
During play
Take regular breaks and use the restaurants, deck and hotel spaces away from gambling. Never chase losses, use borrowed money or gamble when stressed, tired, upset, under pressure or intoxicated. Pause if decisions stop feeling deliberate. Previous results cannot predict or improve a future result.
Temporary access restriction
An adult guest may ask casino staff for a temporary restriction from the casino cabinet. Staff will explain the available period, scope, start and reinstatement process under vessel policy. A temporary restriction should be chosen before a crisis develops.
Self-exclusion
A guest may request self-exclusion by speaking privately with casino management or another designated staff member. Identity confirmation is required so the restriction can be applied. The team will explain its duration, affected areas, handling of an existing casino account and conditions for any future review.
Staff intervention
Casino staff may refuse entry, pause play, decline transactions or restrict access when verification, conduct, impairment, welfare or responsible gambling concerns arise. Guests can ask dealers, cashiers, concierge staff or casino management for immediate help without needing to explain more than is necessary.
Age and identity verification
Grand Fortune Cruises voyages are for adult guests. Entry and gambling require age and identity verification and a minimum age of 18, or a higher age where applicable law requires. A guest who cannot complete checks will not be permitted to gamble.
Location and operating limits
The physical casino closes in ports and relevant territorial waters and operates only where the vessel’s position, itinerary, vessel policy and applicable law permit. Closure does not entitle a guest to replacement gambling time or a fare adjustment.
Independent support
If gambling is affecting finances, sleep, relationships, work or wellbeing, stop gambling and seek independent professional help in the guest’s home jurisdiction. Appropriate services and legal frameworks differ by location; a local healthcare provider or recognised public authority can help identify verified options. We intentionally do not list unverified organisations or telephone numbers.
A practical pause: leave the gaming room, do not access more money, tell a trusted person, and speak with staff about a restriction or self-exclusion.
